Unused vintage high quality tubular multi-filament projection lamps for replacement of worn projector bulbs or for your customer lighting projects. 500 watts, 110 v. The bulb measures 6 1/4" long from the top to the end of the prongs x 1 7/8" at the widest part, with dual 3/4" long x 1/4" diameter metal base prongs and internal 2 1/2" long filament cage. Each bulb comes in the original corrugated packing and GE Mazda product box. The box indicates that "This lamp is designed to prevent excess blackening of those bulb areas through which light passes to the lens, thus assuring a brighter light on the screen. Filament is positioned with utmost precision to give uniform screen illumination." Base of the box indicates that this is a lamp for Type D Beacon, Catalog No. N-L-1012A. We did an internet search and found them selling for $87 with an indication that they are somewhat rare.
